The Colosseum in Rome is the symbol of the Roman Empire's ancient glory and Italy's historical heritage all around the world. Now you can relive the experiences of gladiators and emperors who walked in this majestic 4-floor amphitheater, admiring its beautiful yet intimidating arches, columns, and arena floor. Outside the stadium, step in the ancient political and social center of the capital, the Roman Forum, a vast archaeological site with ruins of palaces, markets, and temples. To discover the origins of the great empire, head to the spot where Romulus and Remus founded the city according to legends: Palatine Hill. At its top, the Palatine Museum exhibits a rich collection of relics like sculptures, ceramics, and mosaics found in luxurious Roman villas.
