Discover what daily life was like in medieval times! Palazzo Davanzati (Davanzati Palace) offers you the unique opportunity to enter a typical Florentine house from the mid 1300s that belonged to rich merchants and bankers. This tower house exhibits antique furniture and working utensils, as well as paintings, sculptures, and majolica ceramics acquired from Florence galleries, displayed in genuine ancient rooms. The whole building is a shrine to medieval Florence and its noble families.

Monday – Sunday: 8:15 am – 1:50 pm (last entry 1:30 pm)
Closing Days: 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month; 1st, 3rd, and 5th Monday of every month
Entry to Palazzo Davanzati Museum is by timed slots every 15 minutes.
The Palazzo Davanzati Museum is fully accessible to wheelchair users via elevators and ramps provided by museum staff on request. Also available are braille guides and tactical reproductions of artifacts for visually impaired visitors.
